The Roots Neuropathy is a dedicated peripheral neuropathy program inside The Roots Health Centers in Lakewood Ranch, Florida. We help people who were told to live with the numbness, the burning, and the falls — and shown nothing but a prescription.
Our Story
A program born out of frustration with “nothing can be done”
Dr. Logan and Dr. Laura Swaim founded The Roots Health Centers in 2016 with a simple conviction: the body is built to heal when you give it the right conditions. As the clinic grew, one group of patients kept arriving with the same story — diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy, handed a medication, and told there was nothing more to try.
Dr. Logan went deep on that problem. He studied the research on nerve regeneration, built a multi-step protocol around the factors that actually drive nerve damage, and eventually wrote a book on it. The neuropathy program became the first specialty to grow beyond general chiropractic — and it grew because it worked for people who had run out of options.
Today, The Roots Neuropathy is a focused program with its own process, its own technology, and its own promise: treat the cause of the nerve damage, measure the results, and tell you the truth at every step.
Who Leads the Program
Dr. Logan Swaim, MS, DC
Dr. Logan is the co-founder and co-director of The Roots Health Centers and the doctor who built our neuropathy protocol from the first patient forward. He holds a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Master’s in Sport Health Science, and he’s spent years focused specifically on peripheral neuropathy.
He’s also the author of a book on reversing neuropathy and hosts free bi-monthly seminars so patients can understand their condition before they ever commit to care. He personally reviews every neuropathy case that comes through the door.
